Hosting Dining Out For Life 2014 at Boca Loca Cantina and Taco Factory
Last month I told you all about the Dining Out For Life Event with Nashville Cares and that I would be hosting this event at a participating restaurant - Boca Loca (you can read it again here if you like)! Well, the event took place on Tuesday April 22nd, 2014 and was a great success!!! I was happy to see so many people come out to support Nashville Cares in this endeavor! Boca Loca donated 50% of their proceeds for the night to Nashville Cares to support their programs and initiatives...WOW!!!
ABOUT NASHVILLE CARES:
Nashville CARES offers services annually to more than 60,000 Middle Tennesseans infected and affected by HIV/AIDS including: HIV prevention education to over 44,000 youth and adults, 13,000 FREE confidential HIV tests, and support services to 2,500 men, women and children living with the disease. For information about Nashville CARES, visit www.NashvilleCARES.org and “like” them on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/NashCARES.
I was so busy walking around to the tables and talking to restaurant patrons that I didn't take many pictures. However, if you didn't support the event this year, make sure you come out next year. It's a SUPER AWESOME cause!
My good friend Karesse and her niece Desi came out to dine with me that evening
I got to be a restaurant Greeter and Host....fun fun!
Thanks to everyone who came out to support! There were people who dined at Boca Loca specifically for this event and others who didn't know it was the evening for Dining Out For Life, but were excited about the cause when I talked with them about it!
Special thanks to my friends, Sorority Sisters, blog readers and even a couple of my patients who came out to support Nashville Cares and me as the host!
Until next year.......................
