Well Wishes

How can you drink coffee and give back to the community at the same time?  That is exactly what I did this weekend when I visited The Well Coffeehouse in Green Hills. I cannot stop raving about this place because the concept and everything The Well Coffeehouse stands for is noble.

The Well Coffee House opened 2 months ago, in July 2012, and has been giving back to the community since Day #1. The Well Coffeehouse is a non-profit Christian coffee house that, as the sign at the counter says, "Exists to give a life of Freedom to oppressed, underprivileged, and impoverished children, women, and men."

Founded by Chris Soper and Rob Touchstone, The Well Coffeehouse sells coffee and related products and gives the entire profit from those sales to those in need. How awesome is that?!?

The Lead Barista, John, created these tasty drinks for me and I loved every drop of them both:

Cappucinno

Caramel Apple Cider

I'll end this post with what inspired me as I left Well Coffee House this weekend. There is a Wishing Well of sorts, a wall, where visitors can leave prayer requests and needs for others to see. Anyone is free to post here and all are welcome to help fulfill the needs placed on the wall by others. Take a look below:

I will certainly head back to The Well Coffeehouse very soon. Next time, I hope to talk with the founders and learn more about this awesome coffee shop!

You can find them online at www.wellcoffeehouse.org

Wishing you Well!
