It was such a pleasure to sit down with Marcia Jervis, Co-Owner of The Mad Platter Restaurant in Nashville, TN. Marcia has a warm, bubbly personality that lights up a room. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcasting from The University of Tennessee but, instead of entering the world of media she has spent the past 23+ years in the catering and restaurant industry.

We started the evening with a Villa Puccini Super Tuscan Red Wine and a St. Gabriel German Riesling



Cheese Array - Chef's Selection of Crafted Cheeses ( from left to right: Irish Porter Cheddar, Maytag Blue Cheese Tillamook Cheese), Melba Crisps, Seasonal Fruit (Current Grapes and Strawberries)


Chili Mac - Elbow Pasta, smoked Gouda-Horseradish Cheese Sauce, Blackened Beef Tips


Watermelon Salad - Spinach, Red Onion, Feta, Spiced Pecans, Lemon-Lime Citronette. You can distinguish every single one of the flavors in this salad!


Caprese Salad - Farmer's Market Heirloom Tomatoes, Fresh Mozzarella, Basil, Balsamic, Peppered Olive Oil


Shrimp & Grits - Gulf Shrimp, Andouille Sausage, Smoked Gouda, Falls Mills Grits, Onion, Celery, Tomato, Spinach, Sherry Cream. Shrimp & Grits is a favorite dish of mine and this was Excellent!!
 White Marble Farms Bone-In Pork Chop (above) Hickory Smoked Pork Chop; Black Beans, Shallots, Serrano Chiles, Bacon, Onion, Yellow Corn, Fire Roasted Pepper Jam


Bananas Foster - It starts with a banana sliced & sauteed in better, brown sugar, vanilla, rum & Banana Liquor until just melting, then finished with a generous scoop of Vanilla Bean Ice Cream


All I can say  is WOW WOW WOW!
