Welcome to the Dinner With Nerds Food Blog™

Hi there! Welcome to the VERY 1st POST to the Dinner With Nerds Food Blog!

I'm SUPER Excited about this new blog that I have created to express my love for food! I've been taking pictures of my food since I was in college about 12 years ago. It started mostly with food pictures taken on vacations. I've been into scrapbooking for quite some time and I always included pictures from restaurants to complete the vacation story. With the evolution of camera phones such as the iPhone, I am now always equipped to take pictures of food from various restaurants.

This picture was taken during the Summer of 2012 at the Nashville Farmer's Market. It was over 100 degrees that day and many of the vendors were concerned about the heat ruining the produce. These fresh strawberries beat the heat and were a perfect afternoon snack on a hot southern summer day!
