Food Truck Frenzy - Riff's Fine Street Food

Food Truck Frenzy - Riffs Fine Street Food Truck

Did you catch a glimpse of Riffs Fine Street Food Truck on ABC's hit drama, Nashville, last night?!?! I was excited to see Riffs featured on this hit TV show because it is a staple in the Nashville Food Truck Community. Run by co-owners, Carlos Davis and B.J. Lofback, Riffs is the 2011 and 2012 Winner of Nashville's Battle of the Food Trucks!

I caught up with them at Centennial Park one Saturday afternoon this Autumn and was treated to some mighty FINE Street Food!

Mac & Cheese, Jerk Chicken with Pineapple (it's hiding behind the chicken :-) ) and Kimchi Fried Rice. This was GREAT!

I now understand what all the hype about Riffs Fine Street Food is all about! You can find Riffs Fine Street Food Truck on Facebok, Twitter and on their website @

Food Truck Frenzy - The Mean Green Ice Cream Machine

Food Truck Frenzy - The Mean Green Ice Cream Machine

Every Tuesday during the month of September, a couple of Nashville Food Trucks made their way to Second Harvest Food Bank to set up shop. I made a trip there a couple of weeks ago and discovered The Mean Green Ice Cream Machine .

I asked Amy, the owner of The Mean Green Ice Cream Machine, to give me one of her best desserts and she did just that. Nicholas, the truck's self-proclaimed "worker bee" diligently dipped my vanilla cheesecake in Belgian chocolate, drizzled it with chocolate syrup and topped it off with crushed oreo's and chocolate chips. Can you say WOW?!?!?!?

Chocolate Dipped Vanilla Cheesecake - Look at all this chocolate goodness!

Amy has owned The Mean Green Ice Cream Machine since 2007 and has been part of the Nashville Food Truck scene since 2010.

The truck can covert into a regular ice cream truck, complete with music, hydraulics and even a dance floor! This is perfect for many of the outdoor events that they cater including wedding receptions. Nicholas calls the truck "A Good Time On Wheels" and I agree!

It's Game Time - Titans Brunch at the Nashville City Club

It's the first Tennessee Titans Home Game of the Season and is a picture perfect day in Nashville, TN. The weather is in the 70s, the sun is bright and there is a sea of football fans walking toward LP Field to see the Titans play the New England Patriots.

The Nashville City Club is a private club that offers an amazing brunch before Tennessee Titans home games. The Nashville City Club now offers the Sunday Titans Brunch to downtown residents as well.

Even though I am a member of the Nashville City Club, this was actually my first time attending a Titans Brunch. I don't know why it took me so long to swing by on a game day. The view of Titans Stadium from the 20th floor of this building at 4th and Church St. is outstanding!

Join me for this fabulous food pictorial of the Titans Brunch at the Nashville City Club. You can also visit them at
